Luis A. Marquez's Biography

• Luis A. Marquez, Financial Services Manager, serves as the Financial Services Manager for the Governor’s Office of Economic Recovery (GOER). Prior to joining GOER, Mr. Marquez served as Director of the Arizona Department of Racing for a year and a half and as its Deputy Director for five years. He has served in various capacities in Arizona State government for 15 years. Prior to moving to Arizona, Mr. Marquez served as Director of Internal Audit for the Puerto Rico Juvenile Institutions Administration. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a degree in Business, with a concentration in Accounting. He received a Certification as Public Manager from Arizona State University in 1999.
